A Stunning Fitout for Noosaville’s New Mexican Gem

In June 2022 Build4U completed the fitout for Bandita, a new wood-fired Mexican cantina and bar taking pride of place on Gympie Terrace, Noosaville.

This site previously hosted a differently styled restaurant, so a new fitout was required to make this place unique to Bandita.

The renovations included custom bench seating, revamped kitchen with a specialised wood-fired barbeque, bespoke arch featured timber trims, all highlighting the view over the Noosa River,

The fitout was designed to maximise the existing space best.

Gympie Terrace in Noosaville has a new Mexican restaurant from Victorian favourite Jason Jones.

Known for his popular restaurant Mamasita, Jones has taken over the old Lazy River Bar & Bistro site and filled it with Mexican food created with fire and smoke. It’s all about tostadas, quesadillas, lamb ribs, ceviche and oysters.

If you’ve been dining in Singapore, you may have stumbled across his Mexican restaurants there. They include Lucha Loco, Chico Loco and Super Loco. Look for Jones and his wife Amy Watts in Bandita.

"Mick and the whole crew at Build 4 U are fantastic to deal with. Very professional with all aspects of building. Highly recommended. A cut above the rest."
