Clouds Vineyards – The Big Barrel

When travelling to Maleny, there is no way you can miss The Big Barrel at Clouds Vineyards. Heralding your approach to the small village, The Big Barrel on the Landsborough-Maleny Road has always been a unique place to stop for a visit.

After years of service, The Big Barrel has seen better days and Build4U were tasked with refurbishing and updating the tourist destination and adding new attractions to the location.

As part of our renovations, we resurfaced and revitalised the barrel’s entire exterior, making it look fresh and inviting. The work continued on the inside with a complete renovation, fit-out and refurbishment to bring The Big Barrel into a more contemporary setting.

We completed the fit-out of new indoor function areas on both levels of the building and completed the fit-out of new wine tasting and bar areas.

To support the new look function and bar areas, we built new commercial kitchen facilities to ensure the venue can cater to all functions and casual visitors.

Finally, we added a new adventure playground for the kids to ensure there’s something to keep the little ones happy while visitors sip a glass of Clouds’ own wines while overlooking the vineyard.
